The Union Cabinet ₹2.79 lakh crore package covers major decisions on agriculture, renewable energy and urban transport. The Cabinet approved the measures on Wednesday.

₹1.86 Lakh Crore for PM DHARA
The largest allocation is for PM DHARA, which stands for Developing Harmonized and Accelerated Renewable Energy Access.
The Cabinet approved ₹1,86,405 crore for the programme. PM DHARA aims to support renewable energy development and improve access to clean energy.
The programme is part of the government’s broader focus on expanding renewable energy infrastructure. It also seeks to support faster development in the renewable energy sector.

Rabi Crop MSP Hike Approved
The Cabinet also approved an increase in the Minimum Support Price (MSP) for Rabi crops.

The Cabinet also approved ₹1,790 crore for an Intelligent Traffic Management System (ITMS) in Delhi.

Intelligent traffic systems can use technology to monitor road conditions and manage traffic flows. Such systems can also support better coordination and enforcement on busy roads.
The Delhi project is therefore focused on improving urban mobility and traffic management.
