UP BJP Media Team: 31 Spokespersons and 25 Panelists Announced Ahead of 2027 Elections

The Uttar Pradesh BJP has announced its new media team, appointing 31 state spokespersons, 25 media panelists and regional media coordinators ahead of the 2027 Assembly elections.

The UP BJP media team was announced on Saturday, October 3, by state BJP president Pankaj Chaudhary. The new structure includes both members of the previous team and several new faces.

The party has also appointed regional media coordinators and co-coordinators across Awadh, West, Kanpur, Kashi, Gorakhpur and Braj regions.

The new spokesperson team includes Hari Bajpai, Dr Sameer Singh, Kaushalendra Patel, Manish Shukla, Jugal Kishore, Rakesh Tripathi, Lalji Nirmal, Anand Dubey, Avnish Tyagi, Alok Verma, Anila Singh, Sakshi Diwakar, Sanjay Chaudhary, Ashok Pandey, SN Singh and Manoj Poswal, among others.

The complete list also includes Dr Richa Singh, Prashant Umrao, Dilip Srivastava, Dr Amit Kushwaha, Priyank Pandey, Naveen Srivastava, Ram Niwas Yadav, Anubhav Chak, Dr Rajneesh Tyagi, Brahm Prakash Pal, Ashish Kumar Gupta, Dr Ankush Tripathi, Abhishek Krishna Dubey, Pratap Singh Nagar and Shailendra Sharma Atal.

The BJP previously had a smaller spokesperson team. The expanded structure comes as the party steps up its organisational and communication preparations in Uttar Pradesh ahead of the next Assembly election.

25 Media Panelists Named

The party has also appointed 25 media panelists.

The list includes Amit Valmiki, Dr Kaushal Kant, Raghavendra Singh, Shartendu Trivedi ‘Sharad’, Ravi Sonkar, Abhay Pratap Singh, Gaurav Maheshwari, Chandramohan Chaubey, Pallavi Singh, Aparna Dixit, Raj Kumar Raju, OP Mishra, Dr Ashok Nagar, Gaurav Garg, Jeba Yasmeen, Ameel Shamsi, Pawan Goyal, Bal Krishna Pandey, Dhananjay Shukla, Dr Vijay Ratna Tomar, Manish Sharma, Brijesh Yadav, Prashant Singh Rathore, Suraj Srivastava and Manindra Pandey.

Two Media Co-ordinators Appointed

The new arrangement has Himanshu Dubey and Deepak Baghel as state media co-coordinators.

The media watch team includes Diwas Chaturvedi and Manoj Trivedi. The party has also assigned media co-in-charge responsibilities to Priyank Pandey, Himanshu Dubey, Dharmendra Singh and Abhay Singh.

The current report also confirms that the BJP has appointed regional media coordinators and co-coordinators across its six organisational regions.

  • Braj: Ankit Maheshwari — Coordinator; Amit Gupta, Shashi Bhushan Gupta, Shyam Sundar Paras and Nishit Sharma — Co-coordinators
