Akhilesh Yadav Accuses Election Commission of ‘Looting Votes’ for BJP

Samajwadi Party president Akhilesh Yadav has leveled serious allegations against the Election Commission of India (ECI), claiming the body is acting under the influence of the BJP to “loot votes.” Speaking to reporters in Etawah, Yadav asserted that “the biggest theft” of votes occurred in several constituencies, including Faizabad and Ayodhya.

Yadav claimed that his party possesses video evidence of individuals casting up to six votes each and accused the ECI of failing to deliver justice. He urged his party workers and the public to remain vigilant. The Samajwadi Party leader also noted that these concerns about the ECI’s fairness have been long-standing, citing past instances of “vote abduction” during bypolls in Uttar Pradesh.

Responding to Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath’s claim of reduced crime since 2017, Yadav challenged the assertion by requesting a list of the “top 10 criminals” from each district to expose the true state of law and order.

On the topic of US President Donald Trump’s new tariffs on India, Yadav commented that the move presents an opportunity for India to focus on reviving its domestic industry. He criticized the BJP, calling it an “enemy of industry” and suggesting that a genuine commitment to Indian farmers and entrepreneurs would have led to a better economic situation.
