The makers have confirmed the Golmaal 5 release date. Rohit Shetty’s much-awaited comedy will hit cinemas on January 8, 2027, with Ajay Devgn and Akshay Kumar leading the cast.
Golmaal 5 Release Date Confirmed
Director Rohit Shetty announced the theatrical release date on social media, promising a film packed with “laughter, fun, joy, happiness and family.”
Ajay Devgn will return as Gopal, while Arshad Warsi, Tusshar Kapoor, Kunal Kemmu and Shreyas Talpade will reprise their franchise roles. Sharman Joshi will also return to the series after appearing in the first film, Golmaal: Fun Unlimited, in 2006.
Akshay Kumar will join the franchise for the first time, adding a new character to the comedy gang. Reports also suggest that Priyamani could play a key role in the film.

Rohit Shetty launched the franchise with Golmaal: Fun Unlimited in 2006. The series continued with Golmaal Returnsin 2008, Golmaal 3 in 2010 and Golmaal Again in 2017.
Golmaal Again combined comedy with supernatural elements and became a major theatrical success. Shetty later expanded the comedy universe with Cirkus, starring Ranveer Singh, in 2022.
