Hapur Horror: Gunfire Erupts Over Parking Dispute in Noorpur Village, 8 Injured Including Woman

Panic gripped Noorpur village in Uttar Pradesh’s Hapur district on Tuesday after a trivial argument over removing a parked vehicle escalated into a fierce shootout between two groups. In the indiscriminate firing, eight people—including a woman—were seriously injured, sending shockwaves through the area.

Critically Injured Youth Referred to Meerut

Ankush, who sustained severe gunshot wounds, has been rushed to Meerut Medical College for advanced treatment. The remaining seven victims are undergoing treatment at Hapur District Hospital. As soon as the gunfire started, terrified villagers locked themselves inside their homes.

Accusations Point to Sons of Deceased Police Inspector

Sources claim the main accused are two brothers, Prempal and Sanjay—sons of a deceased police inspector—who allegedly opened fire with their licensed weapons. Both brothers are currently absconding. Police have registered a case and launched a manhunt to apprehend them.

The incident, which occurred under Babugarh police station limits, has created an atmosphere of extreme tension in the village. Senior officers have reached the spot, and police claim the accused will be arrested soon. A detailed investigation is underway to uncover all aspects of the clash.
