The woman, assaulted by six men just days ago, arrived at the local police station seeking a meeting with Deputy Inspector General (DIG) Akhilesh Singh. Reports indicate both male and female officers blocked her path, citing protocols. Unfazed, she broke through and reached the DIG’s office, where she pleaded for urgent action to arrest the two absconding suspects.
Out of the six accused, four have already been apprehended and remanded to judicial custody.
