An 18-year-old student from Madiaon in Lucknow faced a nightmare. She was abducted, drugged, and gang-raped for four days. Police arrested two men after her complaint.
The incident began on October 15. The girl left home after a family fight. She was near Chinhat with a friend. A car stopped. Two men and a woman offered a ride. She said no. They pulled her in by force. They gave her tea mixed with sedatives. She passed out. The woman left the car later. The men took her to a flat. They raped her there. A third man, Shivansh, joined and assaulted her too. Junaid, a 20-year-old carpenter, then kept her locked in another house. He raped her repeatedly for four days. The girl heard the men say their names. This helped police later. She was freed on October 19. She reached home shaken. Fear kept her quiet at first. But Junaid sent threats by phone. She told her family. They had already filed a missing report.
On October 22, she gave full details at Madiaon police station. An FIR was filed. Junaid and Anshuman Mishra, a law student, were arrested. Both have past crimes. The woman and Shivansh are still missing. Three police teams hunt them. Charges include wrongful confinement, gang-rape, and criminal intimidation under the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita. Medical tests are done. The probe moves fast.
People are angry about women’s safety in Lucknow. They want stronger protection and quick justice.
