Melania Trump Considers $1 Billion Lawsuit Against Hunter Biden Over Alleged Defamation

Former U.S. First Lady Melania Trump has threatened to file a $1 billion defamation lawsuit against Hunter Biden, son of President Joe Biden, over claims that convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein introduced her to Donald Trump.

The allegations were made by Hunter Biden during a recent appearance on the YouTube show Channel 5 with Andrew Callaghan. In the interview, titled Hunter Biden Returns, he said:
“Jeffrey Epstein introduced Melania, and that’s how Melania and the First Lady and the President met. The connections are, like, so wide and deep.”

In response, Melania Trump’s attorney, Alejandro Brito, sent a formal legal notice to Hunter Biden and his lawyer Abbe Lowell on August 6, as reported by Fox News. The letter demands that Biden retract his statements, issue a public apology, and remove the content—or face legal action.

“Failure to comply will leave Mrs. Trump with no choice but to pursue any and all legal rights and remedies available to her to recover the overwhelming financial and reputational harm that you have caused her to suffer,” Brito wrote.

Attorney Labels Comments as ‘False and Inflammatory’

Brito slammed Biden’s statements as “false, defamatory, disparaging, and inflammatory,” emphasizing that the video has already been widely circulated online, reaching millions through digital platforms, media outlets, and political commentators.

The attorney also questioned the credibility of the alleged source behind Biden’s claim, identifying it as controversial journalist Michael Wolff, whose reporting has often been disputed. Brito referenced an article published by The Daily Beast that quoted Wolff, titled Melania Trump ‘Very Involved’ in the Epstein Scandal.

Calling the allegations “extremely salacious,” Brito stated they have significantly harmed Melania Trump’s reputation and caused potential long-term damage.

No Official Response Yet from Hunter Biden

As of now, no official statement has been released by Hunter Biden or his legal team regarding the lawsuit threat.

The situation has added another layer of controversy involving two of the most high-profile political families in the U.S., reigniting public discourse around past connections with Jeffrey Epstein and the political use of defamation threats.
