CPL 2025: Your Ultimate Fan Guide to Matches, Squads, and all you need to know

The 13th edition of the Caribbean Premier League (CPL) is all set to kick off on August 15, 2025, promising a month-long spectacle of high-octane T20 cricket. The tournament opener will feature St Kitts & Nevis Patriots facing off against debutants Antigua & Barbuda Falcons at Warner Park in Basseterre, St Kitts.

Spanning over five weeks, the CPL 2025 season will conclude on September 21, with a total of 34 matches being played across six venues in the Caribbean.

Tournament Format

Like previous editions, the CPL will follow a league-cum-knockout format. The top four teams from the league stage will advance to the playoffs. The top two teams will be given an added advantage with two chances to reach the final — a structure similar to that of the Indian Premier League (IPL).

Defending champions Saint Lucia Kings, who clinched the title in 2024 by defeating Guyana Amazon Warriors, will be aiming to retain their crown this season.
